Terms of Service for Post Automator

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Covenant Bright, the developer and operator of Post Automator ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Post Automator desktop application, website (https://post-automator.pages.dev/), and associated cloud services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, connecting accounts to, or using Post Automator, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using Post Automator and must discontinue use immediately.

Post Automator connects directly to third-party social media services via their official public APIs. Your use of Post Automator to publish content to these networks requires continuous compliance with each platform's independent terms:

Post Automator does not bypass, alter, or circumvent any platform limitations, rate limits, or safety policies enforced by TikTok or any other platform partner.

4. User Content & Intellectual Property Ownership

100% User Ownership: You retain complete, unencumbered ownership and all copyright, trademark, and intellectual property rights in and to any videos, audio, images, scripts, captions, and thumbnails you manage or publish with Post Automator.

We do not claim any ownership or proprietary license over your content. By using Post Automator, you grant us only the strictly limited, technical license necessary to transmit your selected media file and metadata to your authorized social platform API endpoints on your behalf.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Post Automator to:

  1. Publish or distribute any content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or promotes violence or harm.
  2. Distribute unsolicited commercial advertising, bulk spam, misleading metadata, or engage in artificial engagement manipulation prohibited by TikTok Community Guidelines.
  3. Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the security safeguards or OAuth credential exchange protocols of Post Automator.
  4. Impersonate another creator, person, or organization.
  5. Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Cloudflare scheduling worker or any interconnected platform servers.

6. Account Credentials & Security

Post Automator stores OAuth access tokens and client secrets inside your operating system's native secure credential storage (such as Apple Keychain) or local encrypted database. You are responsible for maintaining the physical and digital security of your device.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your connected social media accounts, you should immediately revoke Post Automator's authorization within your TikTok or platform account settings and disconnect your accounts in the Post Automator console.

7. Termination and Access Revocation

You may terminate this agreement at any time by stopping all use of Post Automator, deleting the software from your system, and revoking OAuth authorizations within your TikTok account (Settings and privacy > Security & permissions > Manage app permissions > Post Automator > Remove access).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our cloud-scheduling infrastructure if you violate these Terms or the platform policies of TikTok.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

POST AUTOMATOR IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT SOCIAL PLATFORM APIS (INCLUDING TIKTOK) WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS WILL NOT UPDATE THEIR API SPECIFICATIONS OR POLICIES IN WAYS THAT TEMPORARILY AFFECT FUNCTIONALITY.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COVENANT BRIGHT OR POST AUTOMATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR CONTENT OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE OR THIRD-PARTY SOCIAL PLATFORMS.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes occur, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page (https://post-automator.pages.dev/terms-of-service). Continued use of Post Automator after the effective date of revisions constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
